How to Body Wrap   CAUTION Do not use our Herbal Slender Bodywraps if you have any medical condition without consulting your physician. Do not use if you are pregnant or nursing. Be certain that you do not have a condition that will be worsened with heat or by sudden detoxification.   Pre-Wrapping Instructions: Be Sure to have your client shower before coming to the salon for body wrap treatments. Because the Herbal Slender Solutions are penetrating treatments, the solution must be able to penetrate through clean, open pores. Clients that shower before their treatments notice up to 40% better size loss! Drink lots of water both before and after your wrap. That will help in flushing out the toxins and dislodged fat. Keep a glass of water nearby so you can sip while you relax. Try to avoid smoking, caffeine, sugar, fried fatty foods, and soda drinks. Bodywrap Bandages help insulate the warmth of the Bodywrap Treatment. Allowing it to work deep into the skin’s pores for results in 20-30 minutes, unless otherwise stated. When doing any Bodywrap always start at the lower part of the body and work upwards. Begin by wrapping completely around the same part of the body in the same spot once, this provides an anchor for the wrap. Wrap each area of the body, check that is a secure wrap. Make sure not to wrap too tightly to avoid cutting off circulation. Always wrap upwards to lift the skin. . BODYWRAPPING INSTRUCTIONS   Wrap Method #1 Herbal Slender original Aloe Herbal Gold Body Wrap  is still the most popular spa treatment!   This concentrated herb tea solution of Aloe Vera and a proprietary blend of herbs is diluted four parts water to one part Solution. Bodywrap Bandages are rolled and saturated in the diluted Solution. Heated to 125 degrees (hot and steamy), the Bodywrap Bandages should be lightly squeezed of excess solution for application. Eight to twelve cloths are used to completely cover an average size person. The client lounges comfortably in the wrappings and a professional sauna suit for 45 minutes or you can cover client using Bodywrap plastic sheeting and /or a mylar blanket. Your client may lay down after you have wrapped them; while the body wrap is processing, however it is best to remain active in order to stimulate proper circulation for 40-60 minutes. Walk slowly on a treadmill, sit in waiting room, or anything to keep moving. The measurable size loss noticed immediately after removal of the wrappings is due to the herbs moving the bulky toxins from the fat cells into the lymph system. The client must drink 3-4 liters of water in order to flush the lymph system during the twenty-four hours following the treatment. Herbal Slender Body wrap Solutions do not require a shower following the treatment Clean & Easy Enzyme Active Aloe No Chemicals or Salt Snug but Not Compression Wrap Method Wrap & Measure in 15 Minutes Process Time 45 minutes Unwrap & Measure in 15 Minutes Total Treatment 1 Hour 15 Minutes   Wrap Method #2 Lightly exfoliate clients skin either with dry exfoliation or salt scrub. Apply a thin layer of Body Wrap Cream or Gel, cover client using Bodywrap plastic sheeting and /or a mylar blanket. The Bodywrap plastic sheeting should not be pulled tight to create a compression. Compression would impede the flow through the lymphatic system. The client should lie comfortably with only one bed sheet or foil sheet to cover so warmth will be minimal to avoid perspiration. The plastic film holds the gel moist for 45 minutes to the skin for continuous penetration. This method shows excellent size loss. When the plastic is removed, the Body Wrap Cream or Gel or can be massaged into the body, or simply wash off. If a laundry facility is not available for Wrap Method #1, this is a good alternative.   Wrap Method #3 Lightly exfoliate clients skin either with dry exfoliation or salt scrub. Apply a thin layer of Body Wrap Cream or Gel and wrapping may be done with Bodywrap Bandages. The Bodywrap Bandages are moistened with water and can be heated to 125 degrees. (Wrapping should not be applied tight.) A vinyl warming suit over the cloths will hold body heat without creating perspiration. This is similar to method #1 except you are using a Body Wrap Cream or Gel. Size loss is comparable to method #1.   Wrap Method #4 Body Wrap Solution Gel The Body Wrap Solution Gel is applied to a body that has been warmed by an electric blanket, tanning bed or hot bath. Body warmth (not to perspire) is maintained with a plastic sheet or cotton bed sheet and solar blanket after the gel has been applied. The electric blanket should be turned off for the 45 minute rest time. This "no-measuring cocoon wrap" is an easy add-on treatment for a facial client. This requires about four minutes of labor, minimal cost for Solution Gel and one cotton sheet to launder. This method is frequently used to introduce the client to the body wrap service. The client can feel the freshness of the soft supple skin and know the complete relaxation from the aroma therapy. After this, the client will want to experience the full body wraps.   Additional Information For greater results, stay on a good diet, drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day.
